Accept orders over with the phone with the pay later feature! Save and send orders directly to the kitchen from the Register, and collect payment at time of pickup.
Not currently supported → Dine-in customers can continuously order throughout their dining experience and pay once at the end of their meal.
Register Kiosk
To create a pay later order:
- Add all items in the order to the cart
- Press “Send” button on bottom right
- Enter customer phone number (can skip)
- Enter customer name (auto-populates if already a Snackpass user)
- Press “Open ticket”
This order has now been created and can be viewed in the “Orders” tab at the bottom right of the screen.
To view, modify, cancel an unpaid order:
- Click the “Orders” tab at the bottom right of the screen
- Tap on unpaid order you’d like to modify.
- Here you can:
- View the orders details
- Void Order - will cancel the entire order
- Open in Register - open back up in main page to edit. Press “send” again to save changes.
- Charge - complete check out for customer
2. Print a label for a single item, or print label or receipt for the entire order
Once order is sent, it will show up on Orderhub tablet, KDS, and printers (if auto-accept is on):
1. Order Hub
- Shows and indicates unpaid orders in the Order Hub
- Can’t cancel unpaid orders in Order Hub (only in register)
2. KDS
- Unpaid orders will show “unpaid” on top
- For added items → KDS tile will show the new items with blue highlight and “NEW”
- For changed items → KDS tile will show an arrow next to the modified items with purple highlight and “CHANGED”
- For removed items → KDS tile will cross out the removed items with orange highlight and “VOID”
- Canceled unpaid orders will be removed from KDS
3. Printers
- UNPAID will show at the top of label and paper receipts for unpaid orders
- For changes made to the order, additional receipts/labels will NOT automatically print
- Please manually reprint in Register > Orders. Individual labels or whole order can be reprinted. New receipt and label will reflect the addition or deletion.
Texts + App
- Customers receive a text for an unpaid order when the countdown timer runs out but not if an order has finished early. If you do NOT want it to automatically text customer, make sure to mark item as complete before timer counts down.
- Once order has been paid, customers will receive text with their receipt that links to the app (if they have it) or to a website with the receipt
Additional Details
- Only unpaid orders are eligible for modification
- The search in Orders tab will search orders by customer name, phone number, or order number
- The register will show all unpaid orders, up to 30 paid orders from all transaction sources (register, kiosk, OO, app), and up to 30 canceled pay later orders
